| Jarren's Outpost is a chaotic, comedic board game based on the award-winning D&D Is For Nerds actual-play podcast from Sanspants Radio. Jarren's Outpost is a scummy, bustling city full of criminals, cults, politics and paranoia, and you take the role of one of its colourful citizens, competing with friends to earn the most Prestige and be declared the Hero of Jarren's Outpost. A game lasts one week, with each round representing a day. You secretly plan your movements, then work through the morning, noon, evening and night, wandering a randomly laid-out grid of city locations to complete quests, trade, fight notable NPCs and cause trouble, all while being a little mean to your friends. There is also a solo mode. Prestige is earned by completing quests and defeating notable NPCs, and the player with the most at the end of the week wins. Suitable for 1 to 5 players, ages 14+, with a playing time of around an hour.
