| Coalition: Councils of the Republic is a medieval negotiation party game from Spoonbill Games for 4-15 players, and no lying is required. Play as the pious Clergy, powerful Nobles, shrewd Merchants or fiery Rebels, while Independent players chase their own secret goals, as you wheel and deal to shape your city-state's new Constitution. Players are split into Councils and, over five rounds, bid Influence to decide which Article their Council adds to the Constitution, with the Council Chair holding powerful privileges. Every Article matches one of four Virtues - Order, Wealth, Freedom and Justice - and each Virtue is shared by two factions, so nobody scores alone and you must build and break alliances with your opponents before time runs out. A frantic, sociable alternative to social deduction games, designed by Joshua Ballagh with a playing time of roughly 45 to 75 minutes. Ideal for large groups, party nights and fans of negotiation and political games. | Regular price
