From the makers of I C E comes a brand new strategy game. The creators, ThisWay, are bringing a new game to market and the gamefound is preparing to launch in Q1 of 2026.
The game boasts over 160 unique arctic animals as well as innovative gear based playing boards. The pictures and content already uploaded on gamefound looks excellent. We have an engine-building game here whilst also incorporating area control, resource management and multi use cards.
The Arctic ecosystem is incredibly complex and delicate with much wildlife located there under threat of extinction. Players take on the roles of “forces of nature” developing fauna and compete against one another to be the one with the most biodiversity points.
For an added challenge the game also throws in events at the end of each round changing the game up significantly creating new possibilities where it sounds like players will have to be flexible and amend strategy.
The game is noted as 1-4 people and for ages 14 and older. The game is noted as playing in about 75 minutes. Hopefully plenty of people got along to try at GenCon as there was play testing occurring over the weekend.
