Don't Panic Games has expanded its North American catalogue with two new releases, Sacrifice 666 and Who's Next?, both of which are available now in hobby game stores across the US.
The Paris-based publisher has been steadily bringing more of its titles to English-speaking audiences, and these latest additions couldn't be much more different from one another!
Cults, Chaos and Dark Rituals
If your game group enjoys a little controlled chaos, Sacrifice 666 might catch your eye.
Players take on the role of rival cult leaders competing to complete dark rituals before their opponents. The goal is deceptively simple: get the value of cards on your altar to exactly 6 or -6 and successfully complete a six-second prayer to your chosen dark lord.
Of course, everyone else at the table is trying to stop you.
Adding to the madness are a cast of bizarre characters, each with their own disruptive abilities. From zombies to eldritch creatures and altar-swapping troublemakers, the game leans heavily into dark humour and unpredictable moments.
Can You Keep the Beat?
At the other end of the spectrum is Who's Next?, a musical party game that sounds far easier than it actually is.
Players become members of a band, passing actions around the table in rhythm while trying to avoid mistakes. Miss your cue, freeze under pressure or play out of sequence and you'll earn a Wrong Note.
The player with the fewest mistakes by the end of the concert takes the win.
What makes Who's Next? particularly interesting is its progressive difficulty system. New rule layers can be added as players become more confident, helping the game stay fresh over multiple sessions.
Two Very Different Experiences
While both games aim for quick, social gameplay, they approach it from completely different angles.
