Asmodee have posted some big news on their socials with the announcement of a Splendor Duel Expansion, The Counterfeiters.
All their Instagram post noted was “Be ready to take over the original rules and use new cards and powers to the game this summer! “
What we know so far
So we know it is coming out this year and there are new features coming. Probably the most obvious thing I have written. You Google around a little more and only really Board Game Geek are offering a little more, see below.

I personally haven’t seen too many Duel expansions so this is a bit of a revelation. The base game of Splendor has had some excellent expansions, hopefully the Counterfeiters really enhances and adds to the Duel experience.
