Shadows of Brimstone is getting another massive enemy pack

Shadows of Brimstone: Prometheon Defenders game title in bold, icy letters on a dark, mysterious backdrop with columns and glowing elements

Flying Frog Productions has announced a new expansion for Shadows of Brimstone called Prometheon Mission Pack, bringing a fresh set of enemies, missions, and campaign content to the long-running dungeon crawler this September.

The expansion releases on September 17, 2026 and focuses on the Prometheon Defenders of the Targa Plateau.

Four New Missions and a Mini Campaign

The pack includes four connected missions that can be played individually or linked together as a short story campaign.

Players will face off against the Prometheon Defenders while exploring new encounters and objectives tied to the Targa Plateau setting. Flying Frog is also adding a brand-new Objective Room Map Tile to support the missions and campaign structure.

Like most Shadows of Brimstone expansions, the focus looks to be on adding more variety to ongoing campaigns rather than changing the core systems.

New Enemies, Cards, and Models

Board game box for "Shadows of Brimstone: Prometheon Defenders" features futuristic soldiers in dynamic battle scene with sci-fi elements and intense energy beams.

Alongside the missions, the expansion includes a full set of additional gameplay content.

Players will get new Threat cards, Artifacts, Enemy Traits, Darkness cards, rules sheets, and an Enemy Record Sheet for tracking encounters. The box also comes with six large Prometheon Defender miniatures, which are likely to be the centrepiece for most players picking this one up.

The enemy designs continue the game’s mix of sci-fi horror and weird-west fantasy, which has remained one of the defining parts of Shadows of Brimstone since launch.

Launching This September

The Prometheon Mission Pack will retail for $49.95 when it launches on September 17, 2026.

For long-time Shadows of Brimstone players, it looks like another sizeable content drop packed with new enemies and extra campaign material. For everyone else, it’s another reminder that Flying Frog Productions is still steadily expanding one of tabletop gaming’s biggest dungeon-crawling systems.
