Ravensburger announce release of Horrified: Greek Monsters
Following on from the successes of the Universal Monsters and American Monsters releases, Ravensburger are adding a third game to the Horrified universe, this time featuring creatures from Greek mythology.
With the tagline of “all Hades breaks loose,” Horrified: Greek Monsters sees players pitting themselves against Medusa, Cerberus, Minotaur, Chimera, Siren and Basilisk in this modern cooperative classic. So far we know that the game is available for pre-release from September 5th, we a release date in North America of October 1st. We wait with baited breath for a release date on these shores.
For those unfamiliar to the game, Horrified was a 2019 release where players battle against the Universal monsters from classic films, such as Dracula, The Mummy and The Invisible Man. Each monster has a unique challenge or puzzle that needs completing, whilst also trying to navigate hapless villagers around the board.
This was followed by the 2021 American Monsters release, which includes Bigfoot, The Jersey Devil and The Ozark Howler. The puzzles of these monsters was strikingly different enough to warrant having both in my collection (don’t judge me) and I’m very much hoping this is the case for the third.
