Fans get to experience life with the Moomins in a brand new way this season.
Adapted from the iconic 1954 novel ‘Moominsummer Madness’, Shochiku Games is releasing a new point-and-click adventure game sharing the same name exclusively for PC, Nintendo Switch 2, and Nintendo Switch on November 12th. A physical Nintendo collector’s edition will also be available.
Features in Moomin: Midsummer Madness will include countless scenes from the original novel, fresh storylines, and its highly anticipated hand-drawn art which stays faithful to Tove Jansson’s beloved works.
From classic story to playable experience

The Moomin family, adrift on the rising waters of a great flood which hit Moominvalley, stumble upon an abandoned floating theatre containing a multitude of costumes and scripts, along with the building’s stage.
By switching between Moomintroll and Little My, players are encouraged to explore the world, solve puzzles, and reunite with familiar characters such as Mymble and Fillyjonk. Items may be acquired that enable further in-game progress by helping other characters in side quests or simply using them.
With its endearing visuals and story-driven gameplay, Moomin: Midsummer Madness offers both veteran fans and newcomers alike a chance to discover the magic of the Moomins.
