Ludogram’s multiplayer horror game Invokyr has officially launched into Early Access on Steam, following a demo that has attracted more than one million downloads since its release in June. The game sees players enter a cursed supernatural board game, where every dice roll can trigger unexpected events, dangerous encounters, and terrifying monsters. Players must work together to survive the constantly changing nightmare and reach the ultimate Invokyr Board.
Face more than 15 monsters in a cursed board game
In Invokyr, players explore a world controlled by the mysterious Game Master, voiced by Amelia Tyler, known for her work in Baldur’s Gate 3 and Hades 2. The Early Access version features four distinct environments: Classic Board Games, Jungle, Icy Mountain, and Desert. Each brings its own challenges as players attempt to survive the supernatural threats lurking throughout their adventure. There are more than 15 monsters to encounter and over 20 events to discover, with dynamic rules keeping players on their toes. To improve their chances of survival, players can experiment with more than a dozen chaotic dice and cursed idols, which offer powerful abilities but come with high risks. A dedicated shop also allows players to pick up upgrades, furniture, and gadgets to help them through their journey. With unpredictable encounters and constantly shifting challenges, no two adventures are guaranteed to play out the same way.
A new chapter for Ludogram
The Early Access launch follows the success of the game's public demo, which surpassed one million downloads after arriving in June. Ludogram will now have the opportunity to see how players approach its blend of multiplayer horror, board game mechanics and supernatural encounters. Edouard Gaudel, CEO of Ludogram, said: “Launching Invokyr into Early Access is an incredibly exciting moment for the whole Ludogram team.” He added that the game was designed to surprise players at every turn, with the team looking forward to seeing friends take on the Game Master and discover what the cursed board has in store.
