What is it?
Created by seasoned publisher Skytear Games, who have set a precedent of having games ready within six months of their Gamefound dates, DiceQuest is their brand-new project. DiceQuest is a pool rolling dice game branded as both crunchy and simple for the whole family to enjoy. Set in a fantasy world like WoW or Clash Royale, this game’s theming is certainly appealing and well designed. With intriguing characters that you would expect and a variety of abilities you’ll be building parties of warriors ready for combat.
Like in classic card games like Pokémon, your characters are not static; they can be upgraded and improved upon. Each game is a new adventure to uncover. As you gather gear, you must effectively combine your hero’s powers to be able to forge a victory. Of course, there are bosses, and as you defy the odds of the dice you roll!
What are the Reward Tiers?
The set up for backing DiceQuest is pretty simple. With only two tiers to choose from backing this project has never been easier.
First up is the standard version of the game. In classic Gamefound style you save on the retail price by backing the project now, snapping the game for $30 today. With that purchase you get the whole game. The custom engraved dice and 150 cards used to win the game. Plus, you get the added luxury of a Neoprane mat, custom maples and tokens too.
Secondly you can have the Deluxe upgrade. Included in this little wonder is a handy dice roller and the lux metal coins as well as acrylic tokens. Otherwise, you may be interested in the special edition foil cards like the good old days of childhood and youth.
Will You Back it?
DiceQuest is going to deliver both in terms of production and gameplay. The artwork is intriguing and interesting. The game looks smooth and seamless to set up to. Besides that the game play looks like a classic fantasy card game with dice rolling randomness to help keep things interesting.
