I was shocked to read Joe Manganiello had created a quest pack for the epic Heroquest game. You know Joe, a big American Actor who’s appeared in many films and productions and a well renowned gamer, no less. This is very cool to see celebrities backing board gaming.
Crypt of Perpetual Darkness is available for pre order in a multitude of places, with a whole new set of quests, 10 in all. Joe is asking players to protect their homeland from the forces of Dread with his quest kit.

Armed only with your effects and an ancient map of elvish origin, you must journey deep underground in search of a long-lost crypt rumoured to contain a powerful artifact. Crypt of Perpetual Darkness contains a bit more than just the 10 quests. You also have a stunning metallic black dragon miniature, new dice, a pad of character sheets, 20 foil embellished game cards, and 2 cardboard tile sheets to add into your main game. For those of you who love Heroquest you know an expansion is a great thing.
It’s superb to see more Heroquest content coming to market. The 80’s/90’s blockbuster is enjoying such a renaissance which is further being built on here.
