| Age of the Moon is a competitive strategy game set during a new space race, where players take on the role of leaders striving to build the first fully operational, habitable lunar base at the Moon's resource-rich South Pole. Each round, players spend the game's currency to buy assets like power plants, greenhouses and rovers, then launch rockets to ferry them to the Moon - facing the risks of space travel along the way. Once deployed, assets generate resources that must be managed alongside running costs, while unexpected events can disrupt even the best-laid plans. Negotiation cards let players form alliances or stir up rivalries, and cooperating with others earns International Community Points for an extra diplomatic layer.
