| Timespan is a friendly, peaceful civilization game for one to five players, taking your people from the Stone Age to the Space Age in roughly 90 minutes. Choose one of six asymmetric civilizations and pair it with one of six technology boards, then shape your culture by recruiting from a deck of more than 175 historic figures, buildings, technologies and wonders. Play runs over five rounds, each split into an exploration phase, where players draft cards and discovery tiles and send their camels travelling, and a largely simultaneous action phase where everyone builds their own engine and timeline, with a new age dawning after rounds two and four. There is no warfare at all, just exploration and economic growth. From Kristian Amundsen Østby and Kenneth Minde, the designers of Automania and Bad Company, with artwork by Nilanjan Malakar. A great pick for strategy fans who enjoy tableau and engine building, and a strong option for solo play. Ages 12 and up. | Regular price
