| The Banjo King is a small-box card game that packs two quick-to-learn games for two or four players into one 40-card Appalachian deck. Inspired by the regional playing-card decks of Italy, the deck has four suits - Banjos, Baskets, Pickaxes and Hatchets - illustrated by Appalachian artist Charles Ferguson-Avery. Play Moonshine!, a card-collecting game inspired by the classic Italian game Scopa, or Blessed, a trick-taking game inspired by Briscola. A rules sheet and two rules reference cards are included. Games take around 15-30 minutes and suit ages 10 and up. Developed by Jenn Ellis and Keith Baker of Twogether Studios, it is a charming, portable pick for anyone who enjoys strategy with simple rules - easy to tuck into a bag and play anywhere. | Regular price
