A gamer of 45+ years now, I am predominantly a board / card gamer these days where as I used to be wholly figure based gaming with large battle forces as well as skirmish games, and whilst I still dabble in that from time to time, it's mostly at events where our club attends & are running public participation games.

Our club was the first anywhere in the world to host tournaments for both Bolt Action and Burrows & Badgers, and we regularly host Kings of War events.

During a Covid furlough period I set up my own YouTube channel called The Games Kingdom The Games Kingdom - YouTube where I do reviews, play throughs and unboxings of all game related stuff, and setting this up led me on to apply to be a blogger / reviewer for both ZATU, and a US based site called EVERYTHING BOARDGAMES MAGAZINE.

I am lucky enough to have a dedicated gaming room in a converted garage where I can be found most weekends, but my family also keep me busy including my wife, 2 grown up daughters, 2 grown up step daughters and 1 granddaughter. Although I have lived in Northamptonshire since late 1990 I am originally from Gorleston-On-Sea in Norfolk.

My favourite UK gaming show is the UKGE which I attend each year with my close gaming friends, and I am also the Marketing Manager for The Gaming Community Network or GCN for short.
