This is Uno, right? We all know Uno. Well now. We've been playing Liar's Uno which is sort of an Uno take on the classic card game.
Whilst all the standard Uno rules apply, half the cards here have Black rather than White numbers. These must be played face down and can bluff about what they are - that "Red 5" could be a Blue 6, for example. The other players must then choose if they wish to challenge: if you're bluffing, you must draw a card, but if you weren't, they have to.
There is also a new card (there just has to be, doesn't there?), the Wild Lie: when played, every OTHER player must play a card of a named colour facedown (even a regular card) and the Wild Liar has to decide whether to challenge them or not.
It's a simple and effective take on the game, which generally speeds things up whilst remaining as ruthless as ever. All in all, and considering the plethora of Uno variants, this is a great addition to the range and well worth picking up!
