The legends:
The deck requires a high draw rate to keep momentum and activate abilities. It achieves this through Hanako and Jackie. Jackie offers great gig manipulation and drawing potential whilst Hanako capitalizes on the gig manipulation to draw from gig-pairs.
Finally there is Alt, she gives cost reductions to programs and allows you to replay programs from the trash giving you even more card value, as it allows interaction without using cards in your hand.
Key units:
Jacked-in voodoo boy gives you a massive early game boost as it's a unit that can be played turn 1 for either player, that puts out early game pressure and its downside is minimum as the deck seeks to play many programs.
Next is Maman Brigitte, one of the best controls pieces in the game, Brigitte lets you trade programs for removal and get a threat on the board. The 2 cards to remove an opponent one is a steep cost that's mitigated by the decks powerful draw mechanics.
Finally, pepe is a great value engine as he lets you ready two merc legends every time he attacks. This can add up to two eddies every turn or allow for additional Alt triggers.
Key programs:
Three mouths, one desire is the best draw card in the gam for min-gig decks. If you have at least 2 min gigs this card draws 3 for 2 eddies. It gives you incredible card advantage, that can be spent by other cards to give you dominant board control.
Les Elemens is a brilliant removal spell for blue decks as it avoids defeat triggers and can remove big threats for a low cost. Its downside is you can only choose the lowest cost unit, however programs like towerfall and pyramid song can rid lower cost units easily leaving only big targets for Les Elemens.
Then there is towerfall and pyramid song. Both act similar and offer you great board disruption by weakening or removing opponents' units. Combined with Alts cost reduction you can even play multiple on a turn to decimate an opponent's board.
The gameplay:
This deck is designed to act as a mid-range control deck. It puts early pressure on using cheap and effective units to steal gigs and gain a board presence. These cheap units, also allow you to use spare eddies to call legends and get the draw engine started. Once the legend-based draw engine is online in combination with cost efficient card drawing programs, the deck switches into later game control. By using removal through units or programs it keeps the opponent's field empty whilst allowing your units to win the game. Against most decks this deck is near-unstoppable as it builds up momentum to fast to stop. It's high sellable rate and great draw also makes it very consistent.
The two matchups that are challenging are the BBG mirror match and RR* mirror matches. This deck is designed to out speed other BBG decks and uses 2 lots of mass removal in doing this, allowing you to keep the early game in your advantage. It's important to keep control of all d4's in the BBG mirror to shut off pyramid songs and against Judy use the Mox's to force opponents Delamains into disadvantaged attacks. Against RR* aggro decks, try and answer threats efficiently and make the game go long. Red doesn't have the card draw to win in the late game so manage the early game well and hold on till you can get Placide or Les Elemens out to answer the opponents' threats.
