Launching on 15th July, the brand-new board game celebrates Conscription Day, making it the perfect release date for fans of the Empyrean series. Better yet, it's already available to pre-order!

According to Global Games Brand Director Julie Doverspike, the aim was to create an experience that genuinely feels like an extension of the Empyrean universe. From the artwork to the gameplay, the community had a say throughout development to the point where fans actually voted for Tairn's character artwork through Instagram, helping shape the final look of one of the series' most iconic dragons.

Every copy of Rise of the Wingleader includes a collectible metal Tairn bookmark.
It's not just there to look good either (even though it does). During gameplay, it doubles as the first-player marker, making it a fun little extra that book lovers will probably want to keep long after game night ends.
