Raptor second opinion

The image features the board game "Raptor" cover art. A dinosaur roars behind a man and woman dressed as explorers in a jungle setting, conveying adventure.
What is it?
Raptor is fun 2 player game where 1 player is a team of scientists and the other a pack of Velociraptors! It's small scale, simple and fun.

Is it just for kids?
No, adults can have fun with this still, even with other adults. It's a very quick, light, uncomplicated game though so if you're looking for a Raptor sim (is that a thing!?), move along!

What's included?
Boards on which you play the game, cards, counters, markers and rulebook.

What's the component quality like?
To be honest, despite it being a light, unserious game it's actually got pretty good components. I've bought full price £50-£100 wargames before and they've come with a paper gaming sheet whereas even with Raptor the playing surface is proper board and the miniatures are decent enough.

Is it similar to any other games? Jurassic Park?
Not that I'm aware of, and apart from there being dinos in it, I don't see any connection to Jurassic Park.

How long does it take to learn?
15mins. It's one of those games where you can flick through the rulebook and pretty much have it all figured out, with the odd referring back to it during a game.

How long does an average game last?
30mins. It plays fast with minimal rule-checking and no spending time making calculations as some games do. It really is pretty much pick up and play.

Can you play solo?
No. I mean, you could with house rules and some imagination but it's really not designed for it and I can't say I'd have much hope in trying.

What's the replayability like?
Considering it's a light, small scale game it's actually highly re-playable. I'd recommend it as a filler game though or one of those 'once and a while' games.

How do you win the game?
Raptors win if they can escape 3 baby Raptors from the board, or eat all the tasty scientists. Scientists win by capturing the baby Raptors or tranquilising the mother Raptor. You achieve your win conditions by playing cards and completing actions.
