Newlyweds, Grant and Sakina, recently reached out to the Zatu team with a virtual invitation to their wedding. Whilst we couldn't attend in person, we didn't want to miss such a special occasion.
They shared their story of how gaming provided balance and peace to their lives through a challenging time. Grant's hobby for painting and collecting miniatures was something to rely on and enjoy. Now, they're happily married and decked out with some new minis and Zatu merch!
"My favourite hobby is annoying my wife. My second favourite hobby, is wargaming- whether that's Bolt Action, Warhammer 40k, or Kill Team (and maybe Konflict 47 in the future). I discovered Zatu Games a few months ago when I first got into Bolt Action and have ordered from them several times since.
Despite being in Canada, Zatu Games offers the best prices, an extensive catalogue, great shipping times, and remains affordable even with the currency exchange rate. I found out recently that my sister-in-law in London also purchases from them frequently to buy Pokemon packs, making Zatu Games an unkown family affair.
Recently, I was fortunate enough that my much more extroverted wife reached out to Zatu Games to be a part of our wedding. She had seen how important my hobby was for stress relief and solace over the past couple of years (which have not been the easiest), and she wanted to do something special.
While Zatu Games couldn't send someone to be a part of the celebrations, they did the next best thing: they showered us with kindness from the Zatu team, provided swag that has me looking like a member of said Zatu team, and sent a generous wedding gift from the Zatu team.
