| Warhammer Colour Tone Pro Carthalos Skin 1 is the darkest tone in the five-tone Carthalos Skin family, a 12ml acrylic paint from Games Workshop (code 20-071). This is a near-black brown-grey, the deepest tone in the family. It works as a deep shadow for dark skin, hair, leather and hide, and as a soft alternative to black in recesses. As the starting point of the Carthalos Skin ladder, it pairs with Tone 2 (dark) for the first step of a blend, and it can be mixed with Tone Pro Shading Medium to act as a shade or glaze. Tone Pro is a Games Workshop range of 30 colours, each in five numbered tones (150 paints in all), with tone 1 the darkest and tone 5 the lightest.
