What is it?
A fun base-building and base-destroying game involving crossbows, catapults and projectiles! Crossbows and Catapults was a big hit in the 1990's and this is a re-launch of the classic.
How's it different from the original?
Well, it's available for sale for starters! It's a very similar set, though an important difference is that the original required elastic bands for the C&Cs whereas this newer re-launch doesn't. They're made to launch the discs without elastic bands but I would say they're less powerful. I remember back in the day attaching super tight elastic bands to the crossbows and they really were brutal. I can't pretend not to have aimed for my sibling rather than his castle and was rather pleased with the result.
What's the objective?
Survive. Kills all your opponents defenders before he kills yours.
How do you achieve this?
You fire projectiles with your crossbows and catapults. Crossbows are for smashing, catapults are for lobbing. Choose wisely depending on your target!
What are the projectiles?
Discs. They actual travel from the catapults quite accurately but bounce and ricochet unpredictably!
Is it just for kids?
No. Or at least includes big ones.
How long does an average game last?
30min, though highly dependant on your accuracy!
