I'm a mathematical physicist who now works in finance. I grew up in the North East and then travelled a bit before settling near London. My name, Pączek, is of Polish origin and is pronounced "pon-check". I speak a little Polish, some French, some German, and a bit of Japanese. I used to play Judo and now I mostly sail my ILCA dinghy, cycle, and walk our dogs. I like cryptic crosswords and listening to audio books. The first games I remember playing were Monopoly and Escape from Colditz, then later, Moviemaker and Mine a Million (which was renamed as The Business Game). I've been a huge fan of Tolkien since high school, so my car is named "Vingilot".
