Hi, my name’s Greame ... and I’m a board gamer.

I was born in Scotland in the before times and today I’m a teacher -very handy when explaining games to the emotionally adolescent, rowdy muppets that are my chums- and a geek. But you don’t want to know all that. You’re here for the games, right?

The first boardgame that was mine was Parker Bros 'Escape from Colditz', which ignited a passion that now empties my wallet regularly. I wouldn’t recommend ‘Escape from Colditz’ to you now but, ahh, the memories. I have owned more than 1,000 games since (1303 to be precise-did I mention that I’m a geek?) and played a whole lot more.

In those carefree days of sunshine, rock music and Scotland at World Cups I played a load of war games- Euro games hadn’t been invented yet. Now, I’ll play almost anything if I think it’ll be fun. Shout out to Happy Salmon. As for my favourite game? Today, it is Stationfall. (Check out my review here https://zatu.com/blogs/reviews/stationfall-review). Or is it? In my view fun is king and the game is merely a servant to this. So, tomorrow I might give you a different answer.
