Song of the Scryptwyrm is a solo mystery adventure set in the Great Library, and a stand-alone sequel to The Librarian's Apprentice. A reality-warping fairy tale has been robbed of a vital song, and as a Librarian's apprentice you must gather clues from people, places and things around the library to unmask the culprit before the twelfth chime.
The 60-page, full-colour zine teaches the rules as you play and includes 36 potential suspects, contacts and witnesses, 18 locations, generator tables for creating your own, plus tables of motives, methods and opportunities. You will also need three six-sided dice and a deck of playing cards; a small oracle deck called the Collection is used for readings and is sold separately as a companion. It is a hack of the Hints & Hijinx solo mystery system, recommended for ages 10 and up.
Perfect for solo players who enjoy cosy detective stories and journaling games.
