Rocket Rollout is a space-racing dice and bag-building game for 2 to 4 players from Days of Wonder. You captain a makeshift starfighter and a crew of rookies, represented by custom dice that you draw from your own bag each round, as you race across the galaxy to a newly discovered planet.
Use the dice you draw to activate systems on your ship, blast alien vessels, loot their tech and invest in stronger dice that make your bag more powerful over time. You will also need to spend some dice on shields, because the aliens hit back. Upgrades to your ship and the improvements to your dice combine into a satisfying two-layer engine, and with simple rules, big combo turns and no player ever out of the race, every game stays tense to the end.
Designed by Mark Elsdon and Søren Brandborg with artwork by Jennifer Mati, the box includes a main board, four individual spaceship boards, 81 custom dice, 30 alien bounty cards and 24 starting system cards. Playing time is around an hour, for ages 10+. A great pick for fans of engine-building and dice-drafting games who enjoy a space opera theme.
