| Form the legendary 'tortoise' with the Early Imperial Romans: Testudo for Hail Caesar. When Rome's enemies pelted the legions with slingshot, spears and arrows, the answer was the testudo, a formation in which the legionaries lock their scutum shields into an interlocking shell to survive incoming missiles before moving to the assault. The box contains one multi-part resin Imperial Roman testudo, one multi-part metal Imperial Roman centurion, four metal arrows to stick into the shields and three full-colour waterslide Imperial Roman shield decal sheets. Models are supplied unassembled and unpainted. A characterful centrepiece for Early Imperial Roman armies and a striking display piece in its own right. | Prix régulier
