| Batam is a high-seas race with a twist from designer Stefan Dorra, with artwork by Wanjin Gill: riches, not speed, win the day. Each player captains a ship sailing to four islands on the way to Batam, hiring and bribing crew, rolling dice as sailors and then assigning those sailors to other players' ships, never their own. Claim island rewards, charge rivals for landing on your markers and sell your goods, because the richest pirate is the one who takes the crown. Components include a game board, ships, goods cubes, crew dice, crew boards, coins and compass tiles and cards. For 3-4 players, ages 10 and up, with games lasting about 45 minutes. A fast, tactical choice for families and game groups who enjoy a little bluffing and push-your-luck. | Prix régulier
