| Run a struggling Sunday league side through four chaotic weeks of pre-season in Sunday Manager, the amateur football strategy game packed with banter, transfer wars and shady tactics. Your club is missing key players and the clock is ticking, so you will bid against rivals in auctions for free agents, pick a captain, hire staff, take cash from a local sponsor and slip in the odd sabotage card to wreck someone else's plans. There are no dice anywhere in the game, so the result comes down to your decisions and how well you read the other managers. The box holds 150 cards, four manager boards, an auction board, wooden pieces and meeples, and a rulebook. For 2-4 players aged 12 and up, with games lasting around 45-60 minutes, it is a great pick for football fans and for groups who enjoy auctions, hand management and plenty of table talk.
