In this game, players take on the role of a small team of elite soldiers, known as a Kill Team, who are sent on dangerous missions behind enemy lines. Gallowfall is the name of a planet that has been taken over by Chaos forces, and the Kill Team is tasked with infiltrating the planet and disrupting the enemy's operations. The game is designed for two players, who take turns commanding their Kill Team and trying to achieve their objectives while eliminating the enemy. Players assemble and paint their own Kill Team, choosing from a wide range of different factions and unit types, each with their own strengths and weaknesses.
