| Apocalypse is a fast, tense trick-taking card game for three to six players in which the Four Horsemen drive the world towards its end, and the aim is to finish with the fewest points. Every Rider card you play flips one of the Apocalypse tokens in the centre of the table. Once all the active tokens have turned black, the trick becomes an Apocalypse and the usual rules flip on their head: the lowest card of the led suit wins, scooping up everything played. Chaos cards can hurry the end along while Tranquility cards help you dodge it, so timing and bluff matter as much as card strength. The box holds 45 Rider cards in five colours, 12 special cards (six Chaos and six Tranquility) and five Apocalypse tokens, played over three short rounds.
