Dream Diamond Games are about to launch their first project with Time Weavers. This 2 for 1 game coming to Kickstarter soon sees the options of playing either a competitive TCG or cooperative Dungeon crawling mode. That’s exciting!
What grabbed my attention is the sensational artwork for this game, it looks brilliant, incredibly bold and vibrant. It feels strange that people need to note the artwork is hand drawn but in this crazy digital age we now live in, actually this is a really important detail for me. I want games created by people.
With the 2 options of play, the game looks a lot of fun.
There is a simple rules overview for both gameplays which I think is appreciated. Check the link to the campaign as there is a little bit more detail than the typical campaign launch page as well as a couple of youtube links sharing what the game and the theming of the game is all about. A game that mixes pirates, knights, Samurai and dinosaurs together screams entertainment for me.
The creators have described their game as 90’s cartoons meets TCG meets dungeon crawler. It looks fantastic. I am full of admiration for anyone who can create a game and get it to this point and I wish them every success with the crowdfunding in smashing their project goals.
