| Introducing the challenging Countryside Expansion board game! This expansion features adorable animals and a peaceful setting, but don't be fooled - it's one of the toughest expansions yet. Your objective is to create expansive Pastures with Farms, but be careful not to have more than one Animal of each type in a Pasture or you'll lose points. Animal pawns are linked to specific tile columns from the central board during the draft phase at the start of each round. Place your Animal pawns in fields, not on routes, to create Pastures. Fields connected to each other form Pastures, separated by highways, railways, towns, and fences on the Countryside tiles. Remember, Animals must be placed on tiles from the current round, not freely placed. Earn points by strategically placing Farms on Countryside tiles, which multiply the points from animals in each Pasture. However, having duplicate animals in a Pasture will result in losing points. Keep animals of the same type in separate fields to avoid penalties. In addition to Farm tiles, there are Village tiles that can join Town tiles to form a City, without separating Pastures. Challenge yourself to strategically place routes, towns, and fences to keep animals separated and maximise points. The Countryside Expansion includes Objective tiles like the Vineyard and Hills, each with unique requirements to earn points.
