Dire Wolf has rolled out the Mummy’s Curse expansion for the digital version of Clank! A Deck-Building Adventure, bringing a solid chunk of new content to the popular deck-building dungeon crawler.
Based on the physical expansion, Mummy’s Curse shifts the action away from classic fantasy dungeons and into a desert setting packed with ancient ruins, hidden treasures, and a few new dangers to keep players on their toes.
A new setting with fresh risks
The expansion introduces two new locations: the Pyramid of the Ancients and the Palace of Kittypatra. Both bring their own mechanics and hazards, including sandstorms that can disrupt your plans and force you to rethink your route through the map.
There’s also a new villain lurking in the depths, adding extra pressure as you try to grab loot and escape before things spiral.
More cards, more options
One of the biggest additions is the 40 new cards added to the dungeon deck. These expand the range of strategies available, giving players more ways to build their deck and approach each run.
Alongside that are nine new challenges, each with their own rules and objectives. These mix up the standard gameplay loop and offer something a bit different for players who’ve already spent time with the base game.
For those looking for an extra test, “heroic” modes are included, ramping up the difficulty and pushing players to make smarter, riskier decisions.
Extra content for solo players
The expansion also adds new single-player scenarios and achievements, giving solo players more reasons to jump back in. Whether you’re experimenting with new card combinations or chasing higher scores, there’s a bit more depth here.
Out now
Mummy’s Curse is available now on Steam, alongside the base game and earlier expansions like Sunken Treasures, which are currently discounted.
For returning players, it’s a straightforward but worthwhile addition - more cards, more challenges, and a fresh setting that fits neatly into Clank’s existing formula.
