| The Jumbo Sherman assault tank was primarily designed to break through fortified positions. It had extra armor including a 1 inch plate on the front, making it able to withstand shells from the German 88s and a vertical sided turret. Given the extra weight of the thicker frontal and side armour, and forward gun mantlet, Jumbos boasted an upgraded engine to compensate but was still about 3-4 mph slower at 22 mph.
