| Chess Joker brings elegant chaos to the classic game of chess. Play a normal game of chess with one extra twist: after each turn, flip the top card of the deck face up next to you. Each card shows a Joker move, such as moving your king like a knight or warping your queen to deliver check. On your next turn you can make a normal chess move or use your card; if you don't use it, it's gone and you draw a new one, and if you do use it, you score it for points. Collect 800 Elo worth of completed cards to win immediately, or use your cards' powers to deliver checkmate the traditional way. The 256 unique cards are split into two sets of 128, basic and advanced, so newer players can start with the basic cards and add the rest when ready. Designed by Carl Chudyk for 2 players aged 14 and up, with games lasting about 45-60 minutes. A fresh twist for chess fans and a clever way to introduce card-driven surprises to a familiar game. | Regular price
