It's always a good thing to receive an email from Mazaza Games (creators of Kavango). Today's newsletter was no exception.
I was incredibly excited to read that their new game Scavengers is finalised and they will be launching it at Essen Spiel in October. I was incredibly grateful to Matt and Zara for letting me demo for them at the UK Games Expo in Birmingham. I expected to be demoing Kavango but ended up demoing the prototype of this game, Scavengers. It was so well received by fans of theirs and it's wonderful to see the finished article is nearly there.
So the Europeans (and anyone else travelling to Essen) are so lucky to get a first look. But the other exciting news from this newsletter is they will be taking pre-orders soon! We all need to be paying attention to their next newsletter for what we need to do here. I'm first in line!
Having had that chance to run through a lot of play through games. I can see from this news alone that little refinements have been made for the finished product and I'm so excited to see the rest of the amendments and how it then plays out.
