The journey continues with the announcement of part two in this epic saga. Office Dogs took to social media this week to announce that The Two Towers Trick Taking Game is on its way for January 2026, what a new year’s treat to look forward to.
Following on from the huge success of the Fellowship of the ring, this expansion (which is also a standalone game) allows players to dive back into Middle Earth for their next adventure. I’m a massive fan of the Lord of the Rings. The story and characters are simply superb, to play a game that takes them on an adventure is simply fantastic and very exciting.
We’re informed there will be multiple playing options, including solo mode, 2 player mode and the road goes ever on. It’s also a cooperative game which is always a joy to play.
A simple set of rules that are highly engaging and ultimately, fun, where knowledge of Middle Earth will bring an advantage to players. The overall impression from the first game in the series, The Fellowship of the Ring, has generally gone down very well with gamers everywhere, here’s hoping this one continues in such a way.
