Breaking News for Star Wars Unlimited Fans! Last night there was an announcement from Fantasy Flight Games on their latest round of suspensions for Star Wars Unlimited competitive scene. It was announced that three cards will be suspended from competitive and local level play: Jango Fett: Concealing the Conspiracy, Triple Dark Raid, and DJ: Blatant Thief.The suspensions came as a surprise to some but not everyone. The Jango Leader was assumed to be getting suspended following 7 out of the top 8 decks using Jango leader at the first competitive event of set 4, Jump to Lightspeed. The Milan Sector Qualifier was also very telling for the use of Triple Dark Raid (TDR) which saw all of the top 8 decks running the maximum of 3 copies. These suspensions should shake up the meta by crippling one of the most dominant decks in the format.

With these suspensions there was concerns around DJ’s interactions with the Han Solo leader, which dominated the set 3 format. To prevent this interaction, Fantasy Flight choose to suspend DJ to prevent its combination with Tech which gave Han solo, an already powerful leader, an amazing power boost. These suspensions will provide a meta shake up delivering big knocks to top meta contenders in the Star Wars Unlimited competitive scene.
