Games Workshop has officially promoted Captain Demetrian Titus in their cinematic trailer for a new narrative expansion for Warhammer 40,000.
Titus of the Ultramarines
Titus, who players first encountered in the video-game sequel Space Marine 2 is now stepping into a larger role. The trailer shows that he has been elevated to Captain of the Ultramarines’ Second Company and has been given the important mission of reclaiming the “500 Worlds” of Ultramar.
This narrative expansion aligns with the upcoming campaign titled “500 Worlds: Titus”, set to include a four-book boxed set for the tabletop game. This story will centre on the Vespator Front, where Titus and his chapter face a terrible Necron threat, let by the mysterious Nekrosor Ammentar – Titus and his followers must fight for the Ultramarian Reclamation!
What We Can Expect
A new miniature of Captain Titus can be expected, making him a focal point for Ultramarines collectors and gamers. We can also hopefully expect much more lore and background to his character, explaining him gaining prominence.
