If you like zombies and board games, you’re certainly in for a treat! Evil Genius Games has announced a multi-year licensing agreement with Living Dead Media to expand the universe of the Return of the Living Dead franchise, with tabletop games and merchandise in development!
Evil Genius Games will create board games, role-playing games, dice games, and accessories inspired by the cut-favourite movies. This follows the hugely successful Return of the Living Dead tabletop role playing game, which raised over $105,000 on Kickstarter from more than 1,100 backers in early 2025.
Zombie Punk Panic!
The first game of this partnership will be Zombie Punk Panic!, a co-op dice-battling board game where players will take on roles as 1980’s punk rockers against hordes of zombies. Designed for 1-4 players, it’s a fast-paced fight to survive in a graveyard swarmed with the undead, where players are armed with nothing but their wits (and a dangerously delicious-looking brain!)
The campaign will launch 30th October on Gamefound! The licensing deal will cover both physical and digital releases, with the main platforms being Kickstarter and Gamefound.
It’s fair to say that Evil Genius will give us these new games full of chaos, horror, and whole lot of brain-hungry zombies!
