If you’re familiar with the haunting video game sensation, Phasmophobia, you know the drill: a group of players stumble into a haunted location, scramble for evidence, and attempt to keep themselves safe from the ghosts actively hunting them!
What We Know So Far…
Well, Kinetic Games are in collaboration with Lost in Cult to bring this chilling game to the tabletop. Lost in Cult is better known for making physical editions of cult video games, so we can place some hope that Phasmophobia will be handled with care.
So far, we know the board game should include feature modular maps, custom layouts, and all 24 ghost types from the video game! It is a co-op game designed for up to four players, and will aim to capture the video game’s random elements such as equipment and cursed possessions!
The question is, can this board game translate the genuine fear that comes with playing the now iconic horror video game, and really make it’s mark within horror board gaming?
