The news so many of us have been waiting for came out today. Mazaza games announced the kickstarter launch is happening on the 21st October. Music to Kavango fans’ ears. The kickstarter is coming!
Kavango has been a hugely successful game since coming out last year and this expansion really does enhance the gameplay. I’ve been fortunate enough to test the expansion and I can absolutely say it’s brilliant and a must pick-up for anyone who is a fan of the base game. Please check out my detailed thoughts here.
The lodges bring a new puzzling dynamic to play. Placement of the animals now really matters in the nature reserve as the lodges present huge additional scoring opportunities and really make players think about the species they are putting into their nature reserve. Significantly more planning is required with more choices to make on your direction of play and what you will commit to.
