A new player is coming to the world of kickstarters with their new gaming project, Hit and Run. Pixel Illuminations are set to launch their first campaign and I wish them every success with it. I can only imagine the challenges developers have to put themselves through to get their dream to the tabletop and I’m in awe of it each and every time.
So what is Hit and Run?
The basic overview, for 2-6 people taking around 30-60 minutes and best suited for ages 7 and up. The developer notes it’s the game you get when you mix a strategic card game with quick reflexes and a bit of chaos. It sounds brilliant on that line alone. Looking at some of the developers’ images and videos it looks exactly that.
Players have to cleverly knock food off of the table using precision hits and at the same time use clever moves to disrupt their opponents. They can pick up cards for special abilities and the players must use their agility to stay in the game. There’s a lot to like from this introduction to the game and if you follow the link there is plenty more you can learn about it on kickstarter.
