Last year saw the announcement that Hellboy was coming to the unmatched board game series and this week gets a step closer with Restoration games showing off the box cover artwork to the world.
For me, it’s exactly what I would expect to see from this iconic comic character. It looks pretty epic. It’s new work from the incredibly talented Mike Mignola that Restoration have for their upcoming expansion.
The other key take away from Restoration is this.
“Get ready to descend to the underworld and battle it out with Hellboy, Liz Sherman, Abe Sapien, and Baba Yaga.”
We know the full cast coming with the set and fans will unquestionably be excited. The final key detail is that it is due for release in Q4 of 2026. We have a bit of a wait still but it looks like it will be absolutely worth it. Restoration seems to be smashing it with Unmatched at the moment and this will only continue to build on the series.
