Alderac Entertainment Group appear to be very busy at the moment. At time of writing their new Kickstarter is live (and fully backed in 20 minutes), Congratulations! Given I recently backed their 'into the Factory' kickstarter, I'm now being notified of all their new projects. I cannot blame them.
Their new project is called Electrify and sees players taking on the role of a visionary, powering the industrial revolution in a solar punk world. The job is to construct a high efficiency grid across five sectors to produce clean energy. This sounds so relevant in 2026.
The game basics are - that it's approximately an hour to play, suggested for ages 10 and up and for 1-4 players. (So solo play which is always cool). The designer also notes it falls into the medium to heavy categories.
As you'd expect with AEG, it's a bold and colourful game full of assorted content. There are stretch goals to be achieved, as well as a clear understanding of the costs of the different pledges available. Take a look on Kickstarter to find out more.
Congratulations again on an already successful campaign and good luck with the project AEG!
