Cosy up with a cuppa and delight your senses with the brand new GameFound pledged game Garden Dragons. With bright and inviting artwork by Naomi VanDoren this beautifully presented package takes 2-4 players aged 10 upwards 40 minutes to play.
Garden Dragons is a tile placement like Azul and Cascadia. First, you pick your domino style follower tiles. These then must be placed next to pre-existing flowers in your fields. Then take one of the two dragon tiles, one to keep the other to send to nursery. Then score points for chains of flowers and dragons that are adjacent to one another.
The simple rules with the excellent theming and artwork make this title a real winner. B.A Games have put together a great package. The project has been backed by 600 backers all eager to see the game come to their tables. The companies modest goal od $15,000 dollars has been more than doubled by those generous backers.
With the gardens being built on a shared meadow board, you will not only be competing for points but also playing a push your luck element as well. Players have two opportunities to place their gardeners down scoring points for the size and coloured connections. So, working together and anticipating when players are making moves is going to be key to playing this game.
Garden Dragons has the charm and the beauty to stand out with interesting rules set and deep embedded player interaction this game is a different from other tile placements. More akin to the classic Carcassonne than other individual board tile placements games, players will have a new challenge to try and conquer. The game will be shipped in 2027 with a planned Spring launch next year.
