Ways i'm preparing for cosy season on Animal crossing, Faefarm and Dreamlight Valley!

Animal Crossing

- Adding to my growing pumpkin collection

I have many, many pumpkin patches on my island. And since preparing for cosy autumn season, I have even more! Of course, every islanders' home has a pumpkin outside the front door, and of course, mine and Rhonda's neighbouring houses are surrounded by lots. Many, Many. Outside the museum- pumpkins, on the beach- pumpkins!, in front of Nook's Cranny- pumpkins and wheat! Yesterday, I earnt the top tier "Executive Producer' milestone, earning 3000 Nook Miles for harvesting a total of 1000 vegetables. Yes, there were some carrots, tomatoes, wheat and potatoes, but most of those 1000 veggies were, you guessed it, pumpkins.

- Finding lots of beautiful Autumnal designs on the Custom Design Portal

Since upgrading my in-game phone, or NookPhone, to the custom design portal, I can access custom designs from around the world whenever I like, rather than being restricted to the opening times of the Able Sisters shop. This has been brilliant! From signs for pumpkin patches, to cosy jumpers, the additions to my island have been plentiful!

- Placing my Halloween tree next to Nook's Cranny

This was up for months, because Autumn and Halloween are my most favourite parts of the year. But one day I put it back into storage, so it was time to dust it off and get it back out! It's official name is 'spooky tree' and it can be crafted with 5 orange pumpkins and 10 pieces of hardwood, or found in Nook's Cranny for 10,000 bells, but you will have to wait for October for that option!

Faefarm

- Making Milk Tea

Warming milk tea, topped with a milky, fluffy cloud, a hug in a mug, if only it was real! This can be made by collecting 3 tea leaves, and 1 milk from a Mamoo cow. It provides 30+ energy and has a warming effect for 4 hours, resulting in less grumpy, shivery avatars!

- Making Berry Jam

This would go perfectly with a hot bowl of porridge or warm, buttery toast or crumpets! To make this, you'll need to forage 30 berries, turn them into mixed berries at a food prep table, then process them into the jam at an artisan table. A vibrant, sweet jar of goodness!

Dreamlight Valley:

- Accentuating my amazing pumpkin statue!

Last Halloween, I used 1000 moonstones to purchase a 'Mickey Mouse Pumpkin Topiary', an outdoor piece of furniture from the premium in-game shop. This entails a big Mickey Mouse head made out of pumpkins, stacked on top of a bed of much smaller pumpkins. Once September arrived, I opened Dreamlight Valley and cleared the nightthorns around the statue, ensuring it was on full, uninterrupted display. Pumpkins and Mickey Mouse, what more could one want?

- Making candy!

To get into the spirit of trick-or-treating, I made some Candy at my cooking station! Despite being a 1 star meal, it is colourful and fun, boosts energy and is really easy to make.

What are your favourite cozy games to play, and how will you be getting ready for autumn?
