That's when the crowdfunding campaign officially launches, giving players their first proper opportunity to back Satisfactory: The Board Game and find out more about how the adaptation will work. There's still plenty that hasn't been revealed, with more information about the game's gameplay loop expected when the campaign goes live. However, we already know that the board game will support one to four players, meaning you can either tackle the industrial nightmare alone or bring some fellow Pioneers along for the ride. Fans can already follow Satisfactory: The Board Game on Gamefound, with those who follow the campaign between now and October 13 receiving a special FICSIT Cup 1st Player Marker with their pledge. Instead of a standard first-player token, the game will feature a durable metal FICSIT Cup. It'll keep track of who starts each round while giving the table a little extra FICSIT flair. It's also a nice excuse to get involved before the campaign even begins!

The iconic Space Elevator is also getting its own physical miniature, but its final size is going to depend on how many people follow the Gamefound campaign. For every 1,000 followers, the Space Elevator miniature will grow by another 1cm! That means the community itself gets to influence just how enormous this thing becomes before the game even launches. At the moment, there's no telling how tall it'll eventually get, but considering Satisfactory is a game all about building bigger and bigger factories, making the Space Elevator ridiculously large feels pretty appropriate.

Satisfactory: The Board Game will put players in the role of Pioneers working for the FICSIT Corporation, sending them to the alien planet MASSAGE-2(A-B)b to gather resources and construct an efficient factory network. The tabletop adaptation will feature a double-sided game board with different biomes, while each player will have their own HUB Player Board representing their growing factory. Throughout the game, players will gather and refine resources, research upgrades, and improve their production lines. They'll also be able to acquire tools, vehicles, and building blueprint cards as they work towards completing their objectives. The developers have said that the tabletop version is being designed as a faithful interpretation of the original game, with its familiar systems being adapted specifically for a board game environment.
