Food fight!
Forget serving up burgers and tacos to hungry customers. In Food Truck Fury, the streets are your kitchen, your rivals are the competition, and absolutely everything is on the menu! Van Ryder Games has announced Food Truck Fury, a new competitive board game designed by Ryan Jorjorian. The game is heading to retail on November 10, 2026, giving players a chance to battle for control of the city from behind the wheel of their very own food truck. It is a recipe that mixes strategy, deck-building, and plenty of food-based chaos!
Rule the streets!
In Food Truck Fury, players take on the roles of eccentric food truck cooks competing to become the biggest name on the city's streets. Each player gets their own truck, complete with equipment, abilities, and a deck that can be developed throughout the game. But this is no peaceful food festival! Players will need to complete jobs, collect ingredients and deliver orders while also trying to outmanoeuvre their opponents. Your fellow food truckers are not exactly going to sit around and let you dominate the neighbourhood, either! Every truck has its own asymmetric abilities, meaning players can approach the game in different ways depending on which truck they are using. You can then customise and improve your truck by optimising its deck, giving you plenty of opportunities to develop your strategy as the game progresses.
Bring the heat!
The real fun comes from balancing your own food empire while keeping an eye on everyone else. Do you focus on completing jobs and making deliveries? Do you invest in improving your truck? Or do you go after your opponents and make their lives considerably more difficult? The game gives players plenty of options, so there should be more than one way to cook up a winning strategy! The food truck theme also gives Food Truck Fury a rather different flavour from your usual competitive board game. Instead of commanding armies or building medieval kingdoms, you are fighting for street supremacy with food, equipment and a very suspicious amount of culinary weaponry.
Get cooking!
Food Truck Fury supports one to four players, making it suitable for both competitive group games and solo sessions. Games are expected to take around 60 to 90 minutes, with an age recommendation of 13 and up. Van Ryder Games is bringing the game to retail on November 10, 2026. So, if you have ever looked at a food truck and thought, "I could absolutely dominate this street," now is your chance to prove it. Just remember, when four food trucks roll into town, there can only be one king of the takeaway!
